Modernise or decline

This was the message from an independent review of the UK postal services sector from the UK government. October 2009: As postal strikes rage across the UK it appears clear the CWU have chosen to decline. We wish them a speedy goodbye into the dustbin of history.

Small Business

The Federation of Small Businesses claimed that small businesses had been hit particularly hard by the strike. They claimed that 94% of small businesses use Royal Mail exclusively, which meant that a lot of business communications had been held up by strikes. However, more and more businesses are making the decision to using email rather than post.
